Nicola Nelson

Nicola has been employed in education continuously in the same setting for 25 years, working with SEN students with multiple and profound needs.

She always goes above and beyond her Pastoral role to ensure that families are supported day-to-day.

Nicola works collaboratively with external providers to get the best possible outcomes for students and families in a supportive manner.

She has a wealth of knowledge and commitment to the role and offers this to families. She is caring and compassionate and has the time to spend with students to get the best possible outcomes from them.

Nicola is always on standby for those students who are going through a difficult time and will drop everything to ensure they are safe, well, and cared for.

Nicola has her own family, which at times has been faced with challenging health concerns. One was her daughter, who at a young age became an amputee. Supporting her through a very difficult time of her life, ensuring that she was back mobile and enjoying the things any other teenager would participate in.

Nicola has shown resilience and her enthusiasm shines.
