The School Aged Immunisation Team holds clinics for individuals and groups who are not attending schools, have been absent at school sessions , are frightened and need supportive strategies to complete their immunisations, prefer a clinic environment.
We are also using the clinics to support national campaigns to increase uptake of vaccination i.e. : recent Measles campaign. We accept referrals from Parents, the multi-disciplinary team , schools, GPs who are concerned that Young people over the age of 10 years and up to the age of 19 years, are due or not up to date with the UK schedule of Diphtheria , tetanus and Polio / meningitis ACWY and HPV, or they are over 5 years of age if they require Mumps Measles and Rubella vaccines.
