As Chair of the #AppgDementia and former carer for my Mum, I'd like to invite you to join my 7th annual Memory Walk on 18 October 2025, in support of the Alzheimer's Society.
This is a free guided walk around the award-winning Alexandra Park, and is open to anyone to attend.
We aim to raise awareness of Dementia, to support people living with dementia, their carers and anyone else who wants to see a #DementiaFriendlyOldham
The walk will start at 11am so please arrive between 10:30 and 11am for registration.
The meeting/registration point is the Boathouse in Alexandra Park, Oldham, OL4 2QB
The nearest parking for anyone travelling by car is the Queens Road Car Park, however, there is also parking at The Hub and Alexandra Road Car Park
