The Santa dash is back and bigger than ever, as always the event is held in uppermill on the first Saturday of December (7th December).
This year the event will be held on the King George V park and car park in central Uppermill. The event will kick off from midday with market stalls and refreshments in the park to supplement the pre dash build up with Elliot Eastwick co-ordinating a packed on stage line up.
The yearly sell out event is expecting full capacity of 2,200 participants taking part in the dash that leaves a packed Uppermill village leading into greenfield round the bridal path and back into the village for post dash fun.
We will have local legend Kevin Sinfield completing his final challenge with our Santa dash. With this £2.50 of every ticket sale will go to the charity MND.
The dash has two routes, if you are feeling adventurous then take the 5km route, if you want to take it easy do the pram/wheelchair friendly 2km route, you can decide on the day !
Post dash fun continues into the evening culminating in an appearance from the real Santa who will be paraded down the high street on the rush cart, more detail to follow on that part of the event.
