5 week course for 2hours each week.
Youth Connect 5 Transit is for parents/carers of children aged 8-11yrs who want to support their child with the transition to secondary school particularly where children are feeling anxious about the move. The course last for 5 weeks and parents attend for 2 hours each week.
Topics covered in the sessions give parents the skills to support their children to build independence and resilience, so that their children are better able to cope with change and difficult situations. It also supports the transition through puberty.
