If you have not previously submitted a Build A Business Registration Form\, please complete after booking your place. \nPlease arrive between 9:30-10:00am for networking and registration. Workshop starts at 10:00am. \nPlease note: To be eligible for this workshop you must be a Greater Manchester resident or the owner of a Greater Manchester located business. \nKnow Your Customer\, Get Competitive! \n\nDo you know who your customers really are?\nHow much they will spend on your product or service?\nWhy they choose one over another? Why would they choose you over a competitor?\n\nHaving a great product isn't enough nowadays - every business needs to know about the attitudes\, behaviours and beliefs of their target customers. You need to understand what matters to your customers. And what drives them to make choices and decisions that ultimately leads to sales and customer satisfaction. \nAt this workshop you will learn how to access market research and other resources that can help you find the answers to all these questions and more - and it’s all been funded for you! \nWe'll also show you how to find suppliers\, marketing and sales leads and consider who is best to trade with. Learn how to use the Business & IP Centre Manchester’s £5 million collection of UK and global business databases (including market research and company and financial information) to: \n\nassess market potential\ndevelop a viable business plan\,\nupskill you to ‘know your market’.\n\nTo join this workshop you or your business needs to reside within one of the ten GM authorities: Bolton\, Bury\, Manchester\, Oldham\, Rochdale\, Salford\, Stockport\, Tameside\, Trafford or Wigan. \nYou also need to be: \nThe owner of the business \nOR \nAn aspiring entrepreneur with a business idea you want to develop. \nPLEASE NOTE: The Build A Business programme of funded workshops have limited places.
