DESCRIPTION:A mum-and-baby wellbeing group facilitated by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. \nA group for mums who may be anxious accessing universal service groups\, offering a gentle introduction to the benefits of what mother-and-baby groups can offer. Group leaders support mums with many aspects of baby care\, including child development\, infant feeding\, baby behaviours and safe sleep. The group also lets mums make new friends and share their experiences in a friendly\, non-judgemental space. \nMums attending the group can take part in creative sessions with their baby and learn about their baby’s development through short information-sharing sessions\, helping them understand and respond to their baby in a loving\, responsive way. \nBaby Steps is available by invitation only. Please contact your local health visitor for a referral if you think the group could support you.
