DESCRIPTION:Join us for fun with Twinkleboost! \nTwinkleboost is a local charity supporting parents and carers with their children's communication skills. Using a speech and language therapy approach\, the team help families nurture different kinds of communication\, including signing and non-verbal communication. \nThese community sessions give you an opportunity to enjoy special time with your little ones and support their language development\, as well as providing a space to meet other families. The sessions combine songs\, signs\, sensory play\, and fairytale-themed fun. \nSessions are free and one hour long\, with 45 minutes of structured activities and 15 minutes of free play. These sessions are especially for babies aged 0 to 9 months\, with Family sessions for children under 5 years running straight afterwards (10.45–11.45am). All sessions are SEND-inclusive\, and siblings are welcome to come along: we're laying the foundations for all families to thrive. \nYou need to get a free ticket to attend as places are limited: you can book the whole block of sessions\, or get a ticket for individual sessions. DESCRIPTION:A mum-and-baby wellbeing group facilitated by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. \nA group for mums who may be anxious accessing universal service groups\, offering a gentle introduction to the benefits of what mother-and-baby groups can offer. Group leaders support mums with many aspects of baby care\, including child development\, infant feeding\, baby behaviours and safe sleep. The group also lets mums make new friends and share their experiences in a friendly\, non-judgemental space. \nMums attending the group can take part in creative sessions with their baby and learn about their baby’s development through short information-sharing sessions\, helping them understand and respond to their baby in a loving\, responsive way. \nBaby Steps is available by invitation only. Please contact your local health visitor for a referral if you think the group could support you.

M. Barrie’s timeless classic to life. \nExpect swashbuckling pirates\, daring adventures\, unforgettable characters\, live music\, original songs and the imaginative storytelling that has become the hallmark of our Christmas productions. With a sprinkle of fairy dust and a lot of theatrical magic\, ordinary objects become extraordinary\, imaginations take flight and Neverland appears before your very eyes. \nFor ten Christmases we’ve transformed the intimate surroundings of the Oldham Library Theatre into extraordinary worlds of adventure\, wonder and imagination. It’s where families have laughed together\, sung together and discovered that we make big theatre in a little venue. \nWhether you’re visiting Neverland for the first time or returning to a favourite story\, join us as we celebrate ten years of Christmas magic with a heartwarming\, hilarious and unforgettable adventure for the whole family. \nSuitable for ages 4+\nPlease note: Saturday 12th December 2pm\, will be a relaxed and BSL interpreted performance. This Performance creates a welcoming environment with adjusted sound and lighting\, a relaxed approach to movement and noise\, and a British Sign Language interpreter bringing the story to life for D/deaf and hard of hearing audience members. Perfect for families and anyone who prefers a gentler theatre experience. This relaxed and BSL interpreted performance can be purchased HERE.\nThe shows will begin at the time stated on the ticket. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the show is due to start. \nWe aim to ensure that everybody has an enjoyable and welcoming experience.
