DESCRIPTION:Join us for fun with Twinkleboost! \nTwinkleboost is a local charity supporting parents and carers with their children's communication skills. Using a speech and language therapy approach\, the team help families nurture different kinds of communication\, including signing and non-verbal communication. \nThese community sessions give you an opportunity to enjoy special time with your little ones and support their language development\, as well as providing a space to meet other families. The sessions combine songs\, signs\, sensory play\, and fairytale-themed fun. \nSessions are free and one hour long\, with 45 minutes of structured activities and 15 minutes of free play. These sessions are especially for babies aged 0 to 9 months\, with Family sessions for children under 5 years running straight afterwards (10.45–11.45am). All sessions are SEND-inclusive\, and siblings are welcome to come along: we're laying the foundations for all families to thrive. \nYou need to get a free ticket to attend as places are limited: you can book the whole block of sessions\, or get a ticket for individual sessions. DESCRIPTION:Join us for fun with Twinkleboost! \nTwinkleboost is a local charity supporting parents and carers with their children's communication skills. Using a speech and language therapy approach\, the team help families nurture different kinds of communication\, including signing and non-verbal communication. \nThese community sessions give you an opportunity to enjoy special time with your little ones and support their language development\, as well as providing a space to meet other families. The sessions combine songs\, signs\, sensory play\, and fairytale-themed fun. \nSessions are free and one hour long\, with 45 minutes of structured activities and 15 minutes of free play. These sessions are especially for children under 5 years\, with Baby sessions for babies aged 0 to 9 months (9.30–10.30am). All sessions are SEND-inclusive\, and siblings are welcome to come along: we're laying the foundations for all families to thrive. \nYou need to get a free ticket to attend as places are limited: you can book the whole block of sessions\, or get a ticket for individual sessions. DESCRIPTION:A mum-and-baby wellbeing group facilitated by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. \nA group for mums who may be anxious accessing universal service groups\, offering a gentle introduction to the benefits of what mother-and-baby groups can offer. Group leaders support mums with many aspects of baby care\, including child development\, infant feeding\, baby behaviours and safe sleep. The group also lets mums make new friends and share their experiences in a friendly\, non-judgemental space. \nMums attending the group can take part in creative sessions with their baby and learn about their baby’s development through short information-sharing sessions\, helping them understand and respond to their baby in a loving\, responsive way. \nBaby Steps is available by invitation only. Please contact your local health visitor for a referral if you think the group could support you.
