Ayesha Shah

Ayesha has just completed her English literature, Law and Philosophy A Levels, whilst battling severe anxiety. She has undiagnosed autism (is on a waiting list) and is diagnosed with ARFID whilst also being a carer to her disabled siblings.

Ayesha has just completed summer school with Jim McMahon and did some work experience in his office. Unfortunately Ayesha struggles with low self confidence and although she is super talented, extremely academic and very presentable she never sees that side of herself. Something like this may just be what she needs to give her that boost and confidence to carry on achieving. Whilst at summer school Ayesha met with Arooj and others. Ayesha is a student that has been involved in many things out of the borough but has never found anything within our town to gain from, the youth of Oldham deserve better recognition especially when they are so forthcoming and willing to try new things.

I would appreciate considering Ayesha, this young lady born from IVF treatment, who has such potential to succeed within her beloved home town of Oldham. Thanks to Holly Harrison, our local councillor, that helped Ayesha get onto the summer school programme.
