Positive Parenting TEEN workshops are for parents of young people aged 10-16 years who want tom learn skills to manage common difficulties that they may experience, topics include getting teenagers to cooperate, coping with teenagers’ emotions, building teenagers survival skills and reducing family conflict.
The workshops introduce parents to several positive parenting strategies to help parents develop plans to motivate their teen and help them to be more cooperative as well as building relationships and keeping their children safe.
During the workshop, parents will talk about typical situations that they may experience at home and think about how they can use the skills that they learn about to help manage those situations.
